Plaque for the Selberg Fencing Academy.  After graduating from San Francisco State College in 1960, Charles Selberg began his teaching career just a bit to the south of San Francisco at a Redwood City public school.  He also taught fencing for his friend John McDougall at his recently opened club, the San Francisco School of Fencing.  Within a year, Charles left San Francisco to return to his hometown of Fargo, ND.  There he opened the Selberg Fencing Academy on March 2, 1961.  This plaque adorned the wall inside the club.
