A hand-engraved medal from the Colonel Laurance Brownlee collection. I love this medal. Awarded by the Letterman Army Hospital, Colonel Brownlee has taken something sharp and engraved the back in his own handwriting to note the significance of the medal. It reads, “Outstanding Fencer, LAH (Letterman Army Hospital) 1954 ’55”.
