Andrew Boyd

Andrew Boyd was an epee fencer for the Los Angeles Athletic Club trained by Henri Uyttenhove and two-time Olympian, making both the 1936 and 1948 teams. He served for several years as one of the few West Coast representatives on the AFLA Board of Directors in the 1930s. Many times a Nationals finalist in both individual and team epee, his career spanned from the mid-30s through the early ’60s and he was still a member of the epee Olympic Squad prior to the 1960 Olympic Team selection.
