Another from the Archive’s collection of Ralph Faulkner medals. This 1930 Open Foils gold medal with engraving on the back is one of over a dozen Faulkner medals found by pure luck on Ebay. It’s thought to have been part of a smash-and-grab theft that took place at the Faulkner School of Fencing in the early 1980s. How they all survived and stayed together to make it into an Ebay sale is anyone’s guess.
