The Halberstadt Sabre Trophy of 1950. Each year for this event Hans Halberstadt would create a unique sabre guard with an engraved plaque, sometimes two plaques, on the guard. This sabre was won in 1950 by Gerard Biagini and was part of the Charles Selberg Collection. How Charlie came by it remains a mystery.
